Students
who graduate our program can post credits 35 toward and Associates of
Applied Science (A.A.S.) Technical Studies – Fiber Optics/Communications
Option through the collaboration with West Virginia Northern Community and
Technical College. We are collaborating not only with WV Northern C.T.C.
but also Southern WV C.T.C., United
Technical Center
in Clarksburg, Eastern WV C.T.C. and other
Training Schools and businesses throughout West Virginia and other states.
Certifications
International Group, L.L.C. has licensed Orbit Educational Group as West Virgina’s exclusive training facilities to teach and
administer the following International Certifications: Fiber Optics
Installer, Security Alarm Installer, Enhanced Data Cabling Installer and
Telecommunications Technician.
Orbit Educational Group offers tuition based, commercially
available training. Orbit Educational Group's training programs consist of
approximately 60% actual hands-on training and 40% text book
instruction.
Orbit
Educational Group's classroom instruction is provided by a professional
Instructional faculty who continuously study and train in the latest field
technologies, standards, and regulations that govern the design,
installation and operation of the areas wherein we teach. To keep our finger on the pulse of the
industry, our instructor training and classroom curriculum is developed
from the input and recommendations industry employers and manufacturers of
the equipment used in the industry. Others who give input are company
owners and colleagues of the industries that our curriculum is designed and
based upon.
